KCL Law is pleased to announce the promotion of five talented lawyers across two of the firm’s key practice groups. These promotions, effective 1 July 2025, recognise the contribution, capability and continued growth of each individual within their respective areas of law.

Dominic Brown – Special Counsel, Construction & Infrastructure
Dominic advises and acts for a wide variety of construction industry professionals on front-end and back-end construction matters, with extensive experience in complex disputes. He regularly appears in VCAT and Victorian courts and is active in industry bodies including the LIV Building & Construction Committee and the Society of Construction Law Australia. Dominic has also recently assisted Government with submissions and recommendations relating to reform in the construction industry.
Callum Ernikiolis – Senior Associate, Construction & Infrastructure
Callumspecialises in construction disputes across domestic and commercial projects, with experience in all Victorian courts and VCAT. Known for his pragmatic, commercial approach, he has been recognised as a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards for both Construction and Dispute Resolution.
Samar Chowdhery – Senior Associate, Construction & Infrastructure
Samaradvises builders, developers, owners, subcontractors and government bodies on all stages of construction projects. He is valued for his commercial mindset and ability to deliver practical solutions to complex legal issues, with experience across both advisory and litigious matters.
Taslyn Govender – Associate, Construction & Infrastructure
Taslynprovides legal counsel to developers and builders on contractual and regulatory matters, combining her expertise in both law and health infrastructure project management to deliver clear, commercially grounded advice.
Gabriella Lloyd – Associate, Corporate & Commercial
Gabriellaadvises businesses of all sizes on corporate governance, transactions and commercial contracts. She recently played a key role in the sale of Whereto Research to Ipsos SA and is known for her collaborative and client-focused approach.
