The Role

As our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team continues to grow, there is an exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join the team.

We are looking for a Lawyer who enjoys working in a dynamic and friendly team. Experience in commercial litigation is required, and the role will suit you if you enjoy a fast-paced working environment and variety in the cases that you will handle. The Candidate

We are seeking an experienced practitioner with 3-5 years PAE in Commercial Litigation. Ideally, you will have had exposure to a range of areas including the rules of civil procedure in all major courts, the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), partnership / shareholder disputes, insolvency (corporate and personal), property / lease disputes (including retail leases), competition and consumer law (including the ACL), professional negligence, equity, defamation and insurance coverage disputes (including the ICA).

Essential personal attributes for the role include a positive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and an aptitude for providing clients with commercial legal solutions. An ability or interest in developing a practice will be encouraged and supported by the firm, but is not required, as well as ongoing CPD and other support for your career development.

We are looking for someone interested in nurturing and/or expanding the firm’s business by being able to establish and maintain strong client relationships. You must be looking for a great team environment and have a good attitude. It is a fast-paced and diverse practice, so experience in managing urgent tasks will be beneficial.
