The Construction and Infrastructure Team works predominately with major commercial and infrastructure contractors and subcontractors and a range of select developers and consultants both locally and interstate, each of whom rely on us for efficient legal and commercial solutions, preferably by avoiding litigation. We have built great relationships with our clients who are great to work with and are developing new relationships with like-minded prospective clients.
Our team has been recognised in the Doyle’s Guide for Construction and Infrastructure 6 years in a row, including 2023.
The Role
We are currently looking for a Construction and Infrastructure Lawyer with at least 4 years’ experience to join our Construction and Infrastructure team at KCL Law.
The role is predominantly focused on:
- Front-end tender and contract review;
- Contract drafting and negotiation;
- Project consulting and claims; and
- (if desired) assisted litigation, arbitration, expert determination and occasionally adjudication, the full life of a construction project.
You will be immediately exposed to top tier clients and work on major project involving well-known participants in the Australian construction and infrastructure industry.
We also work closely with a range of trusted experts, counsel and senior counsel where necessary.
