The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and professional IT Manager to join our well-established firm.  Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the IT Manager is responsible for the provision of efficient and effective IT support to all members of the Firm and to ensure the highest level of internal and external customer service is maintained at all times.

The Candidate

The IT Manager will demonstrate both initiative and professionalism within the Practice Support Group and provide support to all members of the firm when required.

 Responsibilities:

  • All IT related issues including computer software issues. This is a Microsoft Windows environment;
  • Liaising with the Firm’s external IT provider/MSP;
  • Maintenance/replacement/repair of hardware and office machinery;
  • Management for relevant firm wide IT related tools and websites;
  • IT training and updates to staff;
  • Coordination of Document Management System, iManage Work 10, LexisNexis Affinity; and
  • Attending and taking minutes at IT Committee Meetings – preparing agendas.

 Position requirements:

  • Experience as an IT Manager within a law firm preferred;
  • Excellent organisational and people skills;
  • Willingness to learn many and varied duties;
  • Taking instructions and completing tasks efficiently and with minimal assistance;
  • Ensuring work is accurate and on time;
  • Reliable and punctual;
  • Contributes to team effort and volunteers to help others;
  • Takes direction, asks questions, accepts suggestions and constructive criticism;
  • Assists clients, Principal Lawyers and all staff with a helpful attitude;
  • Attend administration, team meetings, training sessions when required; and
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
