The Role
There is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious full-time Paralegal looking to advance their career in a dynamic and growing Litigation practice.
KCL Law’s Litigation Team are dynamic and astute and have experience advising on a broad range of matters. You will gain exposure to a range of areas including the rules of civil procedure in all major courts, the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), partnership/shareholder disputes, insolvency (corporate and personal), property/lease disputes (including retail leases), competition and consumer law (including the ACL), professional indemnity, defamation and insurance coverage disputes.
You will be responsible for the provision of efficient and effective legal services to clients and support to the lawyers in their team to provide exceptional solutions to the clients.
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents;
- Filing of Court material;
- Reporting; and
- General administrative tasks including photocopying, opening/closing files and binding documents as required.
The Candidate
Essential personal attributes for the role include excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with clients confidently. A proactive and well-presented individual who shows initiative, attention to detail and excellent time management skills is a must.
