Rebecca Hazeltine is a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. Rebecca has experience in both general commercial disputes and corporate insolvency. She acts for clients across a range of industries, including retail, property, mining, insurance and construction. She advises external administrators from the date of their appointment and up to a sale, restructure or liquidation, and in respect of investigations (i.e. public examinations) and recoveries in a liquidation scenario.
The approach Rebecca takes to her matters is to provide clear and commercial advice to clients and understand their objectives from the outset, with a view to trying to resolve disputes in a cost-effective manner with a focus on early dispute resolution.
Rebecca has a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and has completed her Advanced Certificate in Insolvency, Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA). Rebecca has previously worked at a top-tier Melbourne law firm, gaining experience in restructuring and insolvency.
