Rebecca is a commercial litigation lawyer with our Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. Her practice focus includes working on a wide range of litigation matters, such as contract law disputes, insurance claims and coverage disputes, claims under the Australian Consumer Law, insolvency disputes (including insolvent trading and unfair preference claims) for insolvency practitioners and owners corporation disputes.
Rebecca’s approach to her practice is to aim for early resolution of disputes with a cost-conscious focus. Integral to this approach is determining her client’s ideal result and the best course to achieve a commercial outcome in consideration of her client’s position.
Prior to joining KCL Law, Rebecca worked at a boutique firm in Melbourne’s CBD in the commercial litigation and dispute resolution team. She worked in a number of areas including contractual disputes, insolvency and bankruptcy, debt recovery, property litigation and joint venture disputes. Rebecca also gained experience in building and construction litigation and general corporate advisory.
In May 2016, Rebecca was admitted to practice after completing a Bachelor of Laws with Honours at Victoria University in Melbourne. Rebecca joined KCL Law in April 2018 and was appointed to Associate in January 2021.
