Media release: KCL Law promotes Construction & Infrastructure lawyer Jaimi Johanson to Associate

KCL Law is pleased to share that they have promoted a new Associate as of 1 August 2022.

Jaimi Johanson, construction and infrastructure law specialist, has been elevated to Associate. They have been part of KCL Law since 2020.

Jaimi primarily acts for builders and developers on medium-to-large commercial, infrastructure and domestic projects that involve various Australian and international standard contracts and others bespoke. Jaimi prepares and negotiates tenders and contracts, consults during projects, advises on disputes and conducts litigation and arbitration in Victoria.

Jaimi also advises on matters related to Australian consumer law, insolvency and bankruptcy, project consulting, insurance, proportionate liability, security of payment, personal property security, contract law and negligence.

Principal Lawyer in KCL’s Construction and Infrastructure team, Damien Simonetti, said of the promotion, ‘Jaimi is a brilliant lawyer and invaluable asset to our team.
