An Associate with our Family Law team, Kate has experience in all areas of family law. Astutely aware of the sensitivity surrounding family law matters, Kate also understands the importance of taking a commercial approach to her practice. It’s this focus, combined with her excellent communication and drafting skills, that enable her to achieve successful, long-standing outcomes for her clients.
Prior to joining KCL Law, Kate was employed at Macpherson Kelley in their Family Law practice and, before this, a number of specialist family law firms. During this time, Kate gained valuable experience acting on a variety of family law matters, including parenting disputes involving complex issues of family violence, international and interstate relocation and parental alienation, protecting and conserving business operations for small-to-medium business owners, as well assisting clients with child support issues.
Kate is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Law Council of Australia Family Law Section.
Kate was admitted to practice in 2013, after completing a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Criminology and Psychology and a Bachelor of Laws.
