Ilan has experience practising in all areas of corporate and commercial law, including corporate law, corporate finance and property finance. 

Ilan has acted for a range of clients, including private businesses, private and institutional lenders, commercial borrowers, private investors, family businesses, partnerships, property developers, and ASX-listed companies and trusts. He advises on commercial agreements, property and structured finance, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, shareholder and unit holder agreements, sale and purchase of businesses, syndicated investments, financial services, managed investment schemes and Australian Financial Services Licensing.

Ilan heads the firm's Banking and Finance practice and is a key member of the Commercial and Corporate practice. Prior to joining KCL Law, he worked as Director of a property financier and worked at both boutique and multinational law firms.
