An Associate in our Family Law team, Dominique has advised and acted for clients in relation to all aspects of family law, including complex property settlements, high conflict parenting disputes, international relocation disputes and child abduction, same-sex relationships, cases involving bankrupt spouses and creditors, and surrogacy arrangements.
Dominique commenced her career in a suburban law firm in Melbourne. During this time she gained experience in family law, as well as other areas that arise frequently in family law, such as taxation law, trusts law (including resettlement of trust structures, drafting trust deeds and variations of trust deeds), property law and conveyancing, commercial law, and wills and probate.
Dominique has a particular interest in complex international family law matters, including matters involving cross-border property issues, child support orders made overseas and international relocation disputes.
Dominique is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, Law Institute of Victoria and Hellenic Australian Lawyers Association, and is also involved in the Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry. She maintains a strong connection to Melbourne’s Greek community, and is understanding of the cross-cultural issues confronting clients and their families who are in the process of separation. Dominique also speaks and writes fluent Greek.
Dominique was admitted to practice in April 2013, after completing a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws with Honours from Monash University. She was awarded the Academic Prize for Banking Law.
