Media release: KCL Law's Alan Bidychak and Colin McCaul appointed Special Counsel, effective 1 July

KCL Law is delighted to announce the appointments of Alan Bidychak, Building and Construction, and Colin McCaul, Property, to Special Counsel, effective 1 July 2018.

Alan Bidychak, Building and Construction

With over 13 years’ litigation and dispute resolution experience, Alan’s practice primarily focuses on arbitration and litigation for construction and major projects, along with adjudications under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act and judicial reviews of adjudication determinations. He has extensive experience acting for developers, national construction companies and specialist contractors on all manner of construction law advice
and disputes.

Alan joined KCL Law (then called Kliger Partners) as an Associate in early 2012 and was appointed to Senior Associate in July 2013.

Colin McCaul, Property

A highly valued member of KCL Law’s Property team, Colin’s practice includes acting for residential and commercial property developers in negotiating and reviewing Contracts of Sale, advising on Joint Venture Agreements and all other property related matters, including lease disputes, boundary disputes and protection works. He also has extensive experience advising on commercial and retail leasing for both landlord and tenants.

Prior to joining KCL Law in 2014, Colin had worked both interstate and abroad with experience in-house and in private practice, and advised a range of clients from SME’s to multinationals on property related matters.
